Refund Policy

1. 14-day money-back guarantee

If you're not happy with a purchased dossier, email info@havetheidea.com within 14 days of purchase from the email you bought with, and we'll refund the full amount to your original payment method. We may ask what fell short — it helps us improve — but honest feedback is enough; no hoops.

2. EU withdrawal right

EU consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Because a dossier is digital content delivered immediately, at checkout you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that generation starting means the statutory withdrawal right lapses (Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU) — but our voluntary guarantee in §1 gives you the same 14 days anyway.

3. Failed generations

If a paid generation fails, your credit is automatically preserved and you can retry at no charge. If you'd rather have your money back, we'll refund it — just ask.

4. Free samples

Free samples are free; there is nothing to refund.

5. Processing

Refunds are issued via Stripe within 5–10 business days of approval, to the original payment method, in the original currency.

6. Australian consumers

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is not delivered with due care and skill, or is not fit for the purpose we described, you are entitled to a remedy under that law — including a refund where the failure is major. The 14-day guarantee in §1 is offered voluntarily in addition to those rights and does not replace or limit them.

HaveTheIdea is the name of this service. Your purchase, receipt and any refund are with the person who operates it:
